"did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to Daemon0"

I got some questions below. What does it mean by "did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to Daemon0"? I got lots of this entries in the maillog. Need to know what's wrong. As far as I recall the SMTP protocol the commands that are written in the log lines should/can come right after the HELO oder EHLO command. After the inital greeting so to speak.
They don't block traffic and are a mere hint for you that somebody created a successfull connection but did not do anything with it. |
