Diacritics missing

I cant write capital chars with diacritics like Š, Č in Openoffice 3.0 only those that are on my numeric keyboard. Is there missing some localization or something like that. I downloaded it from homepage and installed. Whats wrong??

did you try using Insert-->Special Character from the menu? If you don't find what you need, you mihgt have to try a different font.

I did but when I write some text in Slovak where each S,C,D,T... has its diacritics part Š,Č,Ď,Ť ... I can't each of this insert as special character. It slow me down in writing ... I think I downgrade my OO to OO2.0 it works fine

If you install the proper dictionary, and you type plain characters, the word will be misspelled. Then, you can right click on the word, and choose the correct spelling, with the diacritics. You also need to have the proper localization installed for OO.
