to start, i'm fairly new to opensuse. my issue is that i'm trying to use opensuse as my router and need to configure DHCP. any help will be appreciated. thanks in advanced.
Other than that, googling that should find some good references. It's pretty easy to set up, but if you have specific questions, you can post them here.
i've tried man dhcpd.conf but there is no entry for it. all i just want to know is how to install a dhcp server. i'll keep looking for a good config page in the mean time.
Can also google for dhcpd.conf examples. Aside from how to start the daemon and open up the firewall for the needed port, that should pretty much cover it. If you have already gotten some things installed and are getting errors... post those and I'm sure someone here knows how to fix them.
