Smile dhcp: Host name lookup failure

I'm using Linux/Redhat and when I run this command to restart the network service:
#/etc/init.d/network restart .... I always get this error--> dhcp: Host name lookup failure
knowing that I already changed the settings in the file:

Can anybody tell me what I'm missing please? Thanks

Could you post the contents of that file? It sounds like it either can't find a DHCP server, or that it's trying to find a host with the name "dhcp", which might imply a wrong value somewhere in a configuration file.

Thanks, It worked fine now. There was a problem with the hostname as it wasn't the same in the both files
/etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network ...
Thanks for your reply
