Angry device icons created automatically after reboot

i'm using KDE 3.2.

every time i reboot, device icons for my two mountable hard drive partitions and my CD drive automatically come up. i delete them, and after reboot, they come back. how do i stop them from doing that?

i've already gone through

Control Center --> Desktop --> Behavior --> Devices and changed that appropriately.

i delete them, and they still come back after reboot though.

Hi, and welcome to LQ!

You're not providing quite enough info...
