/dev/lp0 ==SOLVED==

In my devices folder (/dev), there is no lp entry. How can I activate the parallel port to connect a printer?

I'm using debian sarge.

Thanks for help,

I should have searched the forums first - the solution was already there:
a simple
modprobe lp
did the trick
