Question Determine HW server's vendor


Hello!
I made a script that should be run only on HP servers, and I need to know, is current server is HP or not. Is any way to obtain this info?
PS:My linux is RHEL

Hi,

look at this examples and here for dmidecode

Code:
$> lshw
servername
    description: Rack Mount Chassis
    product: ProLiant DL380 G4
    vendor: HP
    serial: Gxxxxxxxxxx
    width: 64 bits



$> dmidecode

# dmidecode 2.10
SMBIOS 2.3 present.
77 structures occupying 2033 bytes.

Handle 0x0000, DMI type 0, 20 bytes
BIOS Information
        Vendor: HP
        Version: P51
.....
