.exe files are not native linux applications therefore they do not run on linux. (there is an emulator for win16/32 binaries but it's kinda hit and miss with regards to what apps will and will not run on it).
What disto are you using? ( the reason i ask is some distro's set up your cd drives for you and some do not).

go step by step dude...there is 1 config file u need 2 edit after u install wine...we r here 2 help u...da very reason i did not elaborate that post...motive being not 2 confuse u...
You mean wine? Try "man wine" if you managed to install it.
Do not expect everything to run with wine, you really can get pretty much all the information you need from winehq (see post #3).
you guys r really friendly tnx ! i think its my red hat linux9 cd problem and than i will reinstall it (is it work) and i can play CounterStrike on linux right ?
