i was trying to put Backtrack 4 – USB/Persistent

i stopped at "Install Nessus" part to test it out and booted and it said itwasnt bootable. so i took out the usb drive and booted my pc liek normal..........and now after the bios comes up all i get is this
this is all i get ....it wont go past this screen

the my data is still there is a 160 HD dual boot...100gs windows and 60 ubuntu 9.10......i slaved this hd onto another drive and im able to acces the data from both windows and ubuntu 9.10

if you have a ubuntu 9.10 livecd/usb

boot it up nopersistent (the default)
and you gotta chroot in and do update-grub

now i get a menu with this at the top that can choose between memtest and this at the top GNU GRUB version 1.97~beta 4
