Desktop Shortcut in Puppy Version 4.0

I'm using Puppy Version 4,0 .
I'm pretty new to linux but not new to programming.

Can I create a desktop shortcut to (for example) Osmo personal organizer. It's on the Menu under Personal.

I'm mostly using the GUI, but I am learning to use the Linux commands in the Console.

Thanks

To make a desktop shortcut, you need to drag to the desktop the executable file for the program (you can use pfind file finder to find its location). To change the icon, you right-click on the existing icon, select "File xx" - "set icon" and drag the correct icon file into the place where it says "drop an icon file here". You can search for an appropriate icon using pfind file finder or find one in usr/local/lib/X11/pixmaps (it'll have .xpm or .png extension).

Here's a video tutorial "how-to" (it shows an older version of Puppy, but the procedure is fundamentally the same)
