Desktop Setup Save Question.

Is there anyway that I can save my desktop setting when I log out and shutdown ? That way, every time I reboot, I don't have to go over the setup process all over again.

By the way, I am using Vector Linux 3.2

Thanks.

Vijay

I use ICEWM. What I was meaning was actually all the programs that I open and use like the browser, word processor etc., Can they be setup so that at login they will openup the same way as when they were closed ? Thanks.

In your xinitrc file you can setup geometries on most applications, if that's what you mean. If you want a certain application to act a certain way, usually you will find a .application file in your home directory, where .application is the name of the application you want to save changes on.

Cool
