i was just wondering how can i get a screenshot of my desktop on kde. when i press crtl+print, where does the screenshot goes?. i cant see it in the klipper not like windows its always in the clipboard. where does the screenshot goes???

It doesn't ... you'll have to use one of the plentifully
available graphics programs (gimp, import, ... ) to do
this...

Use ksnapshot - should be in your multimedia options in kmenu. You can choose where to save it to.

you could also use the snapshot plugin for gkrellm. then not only do you get the ability to take a screenshot, you get the nifty system monitor gkrellm that will make that screenshot much cooler looking. if this is important to you. ;)
