Desktop Resolution


I have just installed Kubuntu. Is there any way of adjusting the screen resolution?

I am the noobiest of Linux Noobs so any basic, straightforward advice would be appreciated - just remember I know nothing!

re: desktop resilution

i'm having the same problem but it says unknown monitor. i'm running a ctx 1765gme monitor right now. how do i update the monitor. i tried detect displays and nothing happens.
