hi installed rh9 in my machine.while installing i opted for gnome display.once it got loaded it asked for option do want to boot from text mode or gui.i opted for text.later on to switch to grafical mode i used startx command .but in gui prompt i get only xterminal and no other desktop icons or panels or anything else.only xterminal is what i get.editing inittab did no good.i installed all rpms related to gnome but did no good.i am feed up .can any one help me please.i will be very much greateful

no dear it did not work.I get only xterminals and nothing else but suppose i type any command associated with gui interface like redhat-config-users another terminal opens with graphical interface to create users and groups.can u help me with it.
