desktop environnement
I'm using a pclinuxos 2012 live cd. I have some difficulties with KDE desktop envirennement. are there a command to change for gnome desktop?

PCLinuxOS is very centred on KDE and best run with that desktop. Tell us what the problems are, and there should be solutions. If KDE just doesn't suit you or your computer, then at least the problems will help us suggest the best alternative.

If you are running from Live CD, you generally do not have many options for changing the configuration. Best to go ahead and install on your hard drive and then set things up.
All things equal, it will probably easier to pick a distro that comes with Gnome by default.
