In Fedora I would recommend installing, if possible, the nvidia drivers using the Fedora package manager software (command-line-wise it's "yum", but it has a graphical front-end found in the menu, maybe something like "Add/remove software", "Manage software" or something). Using that way you get a driver installation that is customized to fit in Fedora distribution specifically, if other files are needed they are automatically fetched also, and you don't have to worry about doing the thing the correct way yourself (package manager does it all for you).

So, open up the applications menu from your panel corner, the administrative/system/similar menu and there look for the program that says it can handle your software updates. Open it (it asks for a password, either yours or root), find nvidia driver and click install.
