Desktop background

where is the information of the desktop background image information is
stored? i m using debian....

It depends. what window manager are you suing?

Gnome, KDE, fluxbox, XFCE etc...

do you know if your image is set by a program like chbg?

i m using gnome...
& in debian there is nothing like chbg i have tried it

Right Mouse Button
So right clicking on the desktop and selecting "Change Background" doesn't work?

i know that, i want in which file background image name is stored or using which file gnome sets the background image? :SAD:

Try /usr/share/pixmaps and /usr/share/wallpapers.
