dependency problem while installing wine in ubuntu 8.10
 

i ve just installed ubuntu intrepid but iam not able to install the latest wine... it says there is a dependency error and wants me to remove some appl using synaptic manager... but i dunno what to do... help plz

Perhaps you could start by giving us a few more details, such as what version of wine you're trying to install (is it the ubuntu repository or winehq?) and exactly which packages it's asking you to remove.
