dependencies

Thank you re the help with the screen and after a read of the documentation on the cdrom and a reinstall I am getting the hang of the system, but now the fun starts

I am trying to install a package called "screem" as i like a web page editor, and when i do the rpg -ivh screem rpg i get the error re codependencies. There i 3 i need and i can find them on the same cd (although they have a more recent version). But trying to install them (with rpg) gets the message that they are directories and not prgrams... how do i get them transferred (copy?) and where do i tranfer or copy them to? I find the dependencies in a place on the cdrom called /usb/lib
Thanks heaps for your help tho, i have the system up and running and find it much better then the inferior commercial one (windows) that everyone seems to love so much

rpg = role play game

rpm = redhat pacakge maintainance.

personally i think you mean the second one.... just go to rpmfind.net and look for the files you need, then install them. not a clue what you mean about transferring stuff.... rpm takes care of all that.
