dell wireless 1370 wlan mini pci card
i just recently found out i have a dell wireless 1370 wlan mini pci card on my laptop but i cant figure out how to get it working any info would helps... sry if this post in in the wrong spot

According to http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_p...brandname=Dell the card has a Bcm43xx chipset. Following the link, the driver for this chipset is in the kernel since 2.6.17. You haven't told us what distribution / version you're using, so I can't help any further until you post more information.

as far as i know i dont have any of those i just found the dell wireless thing on here and treid to connect wireless and couldnt i dont know anything about this and im just trying to find out how to get it to work

where can I purchase a wireless mini pci card for my notebook?
I just picked this notebook up and realized that I can go wireless. Don't know much about these things.

I have a dell inspiron 2200 with a wlan 1370 card and I can not for the live of me get it to connect. It was detected by fedora core 6 but wouldnt work, so I downloaded core 7 and installed it. 7 didnt even detect the card. I followed the ndiswrapper howto (which was a pain in itself) and now it shows up in the network tools, but once I configure it, it wont connect. I got frustrated and turned it off for tonight (been working on it all day) so I will post what it says tomorrow.

could you please tell me where you picked up the card? I got my del through Aarons as used and it ddn't come with mine?

It was integrated with the mobo, came with the dell inspiron 2200.
