Dell Optiplex 755 drivers

Where can I find the device drivers so I can install RHLE v5.x on a Dell Optiplex 755?

Most drivers are likely to be pre-installed. Have you tried installing RHEL yet? That is your best way - install it and then see which drivers you actually need. It is likely that you will need graphics drivers from either the Nvidia or Ati website but you won't know until you have installed RHEL.

I would think Video drivers, and maybe wireless drivers would be the only thing you would need. Unless you have something crazy like a PCI SCSI card installed everything else should be handled by default from RHEL kernel modules.

There should be no problems : all Intel, it seems.

If you have any doubts, you can just run the
identical Scientific Linux SL 54 live cd for a test.

Scientific Linux SL 54 is a free copy of RH EL 5.

When I first begin the installation on a 1 partition system (Windows XP installed) with plenty of hard disk free space (over 70 GB not on NTFS partition), I get a message "Unable to locate device driver" or something to that effect suggesting that I need a hard disk drive controller driver. I am able to access a list of SCSI and SATA drivers, but none of them work.

Did you use the latest version ?

The kernel in version EL 5.4 probably has some
new drivers for SATA controllers included.

You can run a live cd to check, what you have.
The command is : lspci -vnn | grep -iA 1 SATA

Example, Dell Dimension 8300 ..
00:1f.2 IDE interface [0101]: Intel Corporation 82801EB (ICH5)
SATA Controller [8086:24d1] (rev 02) (prog-if 8f
[Master SecP SecO PriP PriO])
Subsystem: Dell Device [1028:0157]
