Dell Insipron 1525 Linux set up...... bah!!!

Hi chaps....

Trying to get the WIFI set up on the laptop...

any ideas as to which distro would be best? it's broadcom drivers so i know its goiong to be a right ball ache to get it going anyway but I managed with other cards... does anyone know if the fact the laptop has an on/off switch on the side of it for the wifi and that it's both PCI and USB causes a problem? the light no longer comes on for the wifi and Linux Mint just see it as a generic unsupported network adaptor.... HELP!!!

Check out ndiswrapper.

If it's Intel 3945, then most modern distros will include the native driver--no need for ndiswrapper.
