Dell's "media remote control" with studio 1400 doesn't work with KDE.. Any packages?

Hi,

I have bought Studio 1400 with windows vista and then made it a dual boot with Kubuntu myself. Now, the computer came with a remote control for media options like increasing volume, pause etc. The remote control doesn't work when i am in KDE.

Do i need install some package or driver for this.

Thanks for the reply,

i downloaded LIRC but couldnt figure out which remote to choose. There is no option for Dell remotes and it doesnt work with media player remote options..
