deleting xp, installing mint

hello linux people,

i got a computer dual booting, oprensuse and xp. However, i want to delete the opensuse and install linux mint instead, but i want to this without"touching" the xp partition. Any suggestions?

Do you Have the LiveCD of Mint? If you have it, then you shouldn't have any problem deleting Suse provided you know in which partition XP is installed

yep, he's right. all you need is the live disc for LinuxMint. boot into it and then go to install. when it comes to partitioning, just make sure you are only overwriting the current linux partition and not using the whole drive
