deleting files by type?


i burned all the jpeg files i wanted to keep onto a disc, now i want to get rid of the copies on my disc so is there a way to use the rm command and specific file type? or will i have to go thru and delete each one by one?

rm *.jpeg
or
rm *.jpg

that rm followed by * which is a wild card and will include everything with jpeg extension (whatever the extension is).
