Deleting Directories

Greetings from the uber-newbie

I am slowly coming to terms with this LInux thing, but in the process of mounting my FAT32 drive (fstab so it works on startup) I inadvertantly created some useless directories. For tidyness sake, I would like to delete them. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Thanks,

J

EDIT: This probably doesn't matter, but the directories are called /mnt/fat and mnt/fat32.

rmdir

will work too, if the directories are empty.

Be careful with rm -r. Don't do it from the wrong directory or you could do a lot of damage! It's always best to use the full path when issueing that command.
