Deleted Linux Partition, now grub not working

I had my computer set up to dual boot to Xp and
Ubuntu. I want to get rid of Ubuntu, so with gparted
I deleted the linux partitions and and resized my Xp
partition to fill the space, and now when i boot up
my computer outputs,
"GRUB Loading stage1.5

GRUB Loading, please wait...
Error 22"

and then it just sits there.
what do I do?

Boot up with your XP cd, get into recovery console and type 'fixmbr' at prompt. Reboot.
