Delete /etc/init.d

i Deleted /etc/init.d anyone can help me ?

Well, you'd at least need to tell us your distro so people have some idea what may be in there, and then you'd need to tell us what services you run.

I suspect you've caused no end of trouble and will need to reinstall, but see how you go.

my server is linux i installed centos-5 thanks for your answer

as far as we had cpanel but we dont have now

I think you can rebuild the directory but you would need another system of the same configuration to get the scripts from. I do have to ask why would you delete the init.d directory?
If you don't have another system that has the same configuration you may want to do as descarte said, and reinstall as it would take some time to get all the needed scripts back.

Doesn't anyone backup their servers anymore?

I can imagine sometimes when you are working late and at 50% efficiency + having a few terminal windows open and typing very fast...

there could be a chance when you do a 'rm -rf' and realised you're in the wrong terminal!

It would be helpful for other members or newbies coming later how you solved the problem so that they can just search and get the problem solved.

I do... I backed up all my VPS nodes on my server three weeks ago, the dom0 is a basic CentOS/Xen installation so very easy to rebuild ;).

I wonder if it would be a idea for someone to make a package called 'foolproof linux' that stops people doing crazy/stupid things like trying to delete important parts of the file system or other such bad actions, display a huge warning message about how dangerous it is. I would try it myself but I am so out of touch with programming in the past couple of years and never touched the source codes of anything related to linux yet =/.
