Hiyas one and all.

I've been working with DOS for YEARS now and RH9 is the first Linux distro that seems to be actually working for me. (I've been trying to find a replacement for windows since RH6.2)

Basic Q: At the command prompt (or whatever it's called) I want to delete a directory - I've SU'd to root and found the directory I want to del. but now what? I've had a scan through the doc's but time is $$$.

I'm having real prob's getting WINE up and running but I think I've found the answer to my probs thnx to one of your members.

i'm sure you could afford a $0.02 that it would have taken you to just type "man rm" :)

Um, maybe but I've only just learnt that command. I didn't know WHAT to type. but now I do so I'm happy.

I've mostly got WINE working, ie: it works for some programs but not others...
