hi,
i want to defregment my portion which software to install i use ubuntu.

you don't generally defragment filesystems under linux, there is no need due to the way they are designed.

yep, another reason why window$ sucks in comparison

But, really if you want to know, there is some fragmentation that happens with some of the Linux supported filesystems more than others, but it is nothing to be worried about, if it happens it will be minor and only if the disk is kept near full with ext2 and ext3 filesystems.

Defragmention in Linux
 
Linux doesn't need defragmention tools like Windows
because of the structure of the filesystem
Fragmentation can accure but it only happens if the hard drive
is 90 to 100% full
