Default path

I have intalled JDK 1.4 with no problems, so i use javac from the terminal all the time (jeez, java runs so much faster on linux than on windows). Anyway, is there a way to modify the default path that all users have so javac can be executed? Or are you supposed to put some kind of link somewhere to javac??

Thanks

Just modify /etc/profile file, where it exports PATH before this add
PATH=$PATH:/path/to/java/bin
