Please provide more info, what kind of version of apache do you use? An example for apache2, check the config file in:
/etc/apache2/conf/modules.d/41_mod_ssl.default-vhost.conf
Make sure that the path is correct (something like: "DocumentRoot "/home/httpd/htdocs/myhttps-part/")
b.t.w. does it read your index.html by typing:
https://www.mydomain.org or does it also read the apache default index.html ? If that's the case, check the: /etc/apache2/conf/commonapache2.conf and search for the line like:
<IfModule mod_dir.c>
DirectoryIndex index.html index.html.var index.php index.php3 index.shtml index.cgi index.pl index.htm Defau
lt.htm default.htm
</IfModule>
Hope this helps,
