Debian Woody

I have had a go at installing debian, but ran into a few problems. I have the first and second CD's. I managed to install the base system then I loaded up dselect and because I did not know which packages to install to get an xserver and KDE running so i installed every package on the CD's they all seemed to install ok. then I typed startx but i got an error that there is no such command.

How do I install X?

I dont have an internet connection to download the latest packages because my modem is a winmodem.

Any help appreciated.

You would want xserver-common, xserver-xfree86 and some fonts as well xfonts-100dpi, xfonts-100dpi-transcoded, xfonts-75dpi, xfonts-75dpi-transcoded, xfonts-base, xfonts-base-transcoded, xfonts-scalabale and if you are using KDE xfonts-konsole.
