Debian testing: SLiM Login manager has many unneeded sessions available

Hi

This may seem like a simple question, but after a long time spent googling I cannot get any results!

Basically, I have just installed debian testing with LXDM as the desktop environment. I then proceeded to install awesome window manager, however I couldn't figure out how to get XDM to give me that as an option to load, instead of LXDE. I then replaced XDM with SLiM, and that allows me to press F1 to choose awesome as the session.

The problem is that SLiM has a large number of other profiles, almost all of which I do not need. E.g. ion3, startxfce, openbox-session, etc
I have never had those on the system, and yet they are still showing up as options. How can I get rid of them, leaving only LXDE and awesome as options to load?

Thanks in advance,
James
