Debian Stretch clicking on the wrong coordinates

I am using Debian Stretch as Live USB. When I click on any folder, it gets clicked on other folder.

Similarly, in the firefox, when I click on a tab, it gets clicked on the other tabs close button & the tab gets closed.

Is this a bug in Debian 9?

Version:
Quote:
Linux debian 4.9.0-3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.30-2 (2017-06-12) x86_64 GNU/Linux
Also, I didn't find the tap on click option in the settings. Now I have to use the touchpad button to click, I cannot click via double touching the touch pad.

I think that option is called "tapping". You can enable it in gnome-control-center.

Thanks for the reply. I am using Debian XFCE as I forgot to mention earlier. In earlier versions, it is used to present in Mouse and Touchpad settings, but in the latest version, I didn't find it there.
