Debian Packages Dependencies Problem
Hi all friends, recently I have install UBUNTU 7.10 on my laptop. I don't have net at my living place. I need to go to cyber cafe to get the packages. But when I tries to install any software, it need other dependency files. I want to know that is there any site which provide package bundle with all dependencies files. I have face this problem with the packages like mplayer, vlc player, KDevelop and other packages which are not pre install in ubuntu.
Please tell me if any one have information about this kind of site where I can get the bundled packages whith all dependencies. Thanks & Regards Deepak Singh Kushwah |
Have a look at the 'apt-zip' package to create scripts for updating your package lists and also downloading packages and dependencies. You may need to install a WinDuhs version of 'wget' on your storage device to be able to download on WinDuhs machines.
