4 gig phison slow pci ide ssd model ,edit: my bad, 2 gig of ram, and 800 MHZ Celeron processor? Limited new to Linux know how and
Debian was installed. To something. Probably a usb or sd card if I guess correctly.

Got a link to what Debian? Version? Type of install. I got a feeling language <mine?> is gonna be a barrier in this thread.

I used to show how Linux was installed on these things
back when I had mine. I sold both of mine.
The 900 and 701SD when they would still fetch some decent bucks.

I used to use a wallpaper for quick access to things like

I guess cheat sheets might help you get started also.

You can download .pdf files like I posted above to your ~/Documents folder after you figure out how to get your Debian install going.

Hi.

Is it installed and you get a CLI (Command Line Interface, ie a netinst?) If so check out
Code:
man man
man su
man apt
if the internet is not working can also load a full Debian DVD on the installer USB drive you used then
Code:
su
apt-cdrom add
to get to perhaps (eg:)
Code:
su
apt-get install xfce4

http://www.debianadmin.com/add-cdrom...apt-cdrom.html
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...to-apt-663249/

otherwise add more info here and keep at it, a netinst is a good start to go on such a tiny thing (oh look at
Code:
su
apt-get install aptitude
then [Ctrl] plus T for the menu.

https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/a...s01s01.en.html)

Have fun!
