Debian-Live install to hard disk
I recently tried debian-live (lenny cd). It looks insteresting. Would like to install to hard disk.
How to do it? There is no installer script like knoppix or mepis. Can anyone suggest me how to install debian-live to hard disk? I don't want to start with installing debian itself but prefer to install from live CD to HDisk Please dont suggest to try knoppix or ubuntu etc. I already know those distros. Specifically interested in debian-live Thanks in advance |
All you need is the 1st cd iso or the kde iso if you are going with kde.
I don't know what you have with the "live" cd. I think the install of choice is to get the system up and running and then use apt to install what ever else you want/need. |

thanks for reply. if i make debian-live cd with my own customization, then hand over to average joe to try. Joe likes it and decides to install on hard disk. He needs script to install... I cannot suggest Joe to go back to debian and install and customize it....like I did.. |
