Debian Lenny LSI 1078 SAS controller support

I am loading Debian Lenny 5.01 and when I come to the partman section, no drives are recognized and it asks if I want to load a driver from a jump drive. Does Debian Linux support the LSI 1078 SAS RAID 5/6 controller and if so is there a place that I can obtain the driver for it? I was told to try MEGARAID_SAS within Debian which I will try shortly but I have another server with the simpler RAID 0/1 that is recognized without any intervention. Any direction would be much appreciated? Hopefully MEAGARAID_SAS will do the trick.
