Debian HD Video freezes

I am using debian Jessie

Code:

Linux debian 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.39-1 (2016-12-30) x86_64 GNU/Linux

When I try to play a high resolution video file i.e. upto 1080p, then the video stucks while playing. Although it works fine with low resolution videos.

I have used xubuntu where they are working fine but not on debian xfce.

What is the solution of the problem?

No idea, since you don't tell us what format the video file is in, what player you're using, what settings that player is using, where the video sticks/hangs, or if you've tried other video files or just one.
