debian bootloader

i already installed debian a feww times just to see how it worked , but i noticed it dont have a lilo to choose OS from . what can i do i`ve searched th inetrnet for it and i found rahter difficult solutions . can someone land a hand ? sorry about the english .can i ask more than one questio at a time?thank you in advance . i think you are doing a great job (linux people)listen to SLY and the FAMILY STONE .

didnt have lilo, or didnt give you a prompt to choose an OS from lilo?
you have to hit ctrl in order to get a prompt
