LinuxQuestions.org - dd-wrt router firmware

I found an old blog post on this topic here on this website but I can't contact the member because I am a new user and never posted before. Go figure. I am looking for an example of a dd-wrt configuration of openVPN. I want a routed network (not bridged) with all clients and server able to see the others' subnets with the addition of all dns and gateway traffic from all subnets going only over the OpenVPN server.

So far I am up to Google page 14 of links in my search and I don't see any examples of of this particular configuration in the tons of examples that are setup quite like this. All of them are generic and no matter how much I read, my eyes only glaze over when reading books on routing tables.

Been trying to figure this out on and off for the past 5 years (it is a road warrior request and "how can I watch Netflix" from outside the US request). I have two dd-wrt boxes with the client/server running now. I can talk to the server from the client; I cannot talk to the client from the server and I cannot figure out if the traffic is going over the correct path or not.
