Dating Linux
Helou,
I'm running Tahr Puppy 6.0.5 on my 32 bit Acer Aspire 7720ZG laptop year 2004.
- Is this O.K. Linux version?
- How do I connectlaptop camera?
- What drawing tool should I use?
Thank's in advance! _/_/Juha

Gimp is a bit heavyweight for someone who just wants to draw. LibreOffice includes a vector drawing program. Or he could use inkscape.

Hi jsurvonen and welcome to LQ.
Please give some better consideration to your thread title in the future. It could be confusing to some.
The version and type of Linux distribution you use is entirely up to you. Virtual machines are a great way to explore alternative distributions. Seems like you've started with Puppy and that's a great choice.
I also agree that gimp is worth your while. I find that it is as powerful as Photoshop if you happen to be familiar with that.

That version of Tahr is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, which reaches end of life in April of 2019.

Thanks folks!
Lots to lear and prove about.
Wonder what specific reason are you running Linux for mine is only curiosity and reliability.

"Dating Linux?" An interesting idea. But as for me, I prefer to date girls!
