Data Mobility
I have a problem. I want to have my calendars, contacts, music, and pictures synchronized between my phone, laptop, and tablet, and maybe my wife's computers too.
I don't want to use Google for these. I don't necessarily trust Google. Dropbox is half way decent, but I'd rather not use that either. I have ssh access to my web server (BSD), run OpenSuSE, and android on my tablet and phone. I want to encrypt the data on it. Is there a solution for me? I'm thinking probably not. |

I'd set up my private cloud...use ajaxplorer for this. I've tried is here and...well, it's pretty decent... Alternatively, one.com offer a cloud as well, rates are pretty fair... (Not intended to advertise here, speaking from personal experience) Thor |
Really, if owncloud had a way to "seed" the filesharing system over ssh rather than their web interface or trying to use the client ....

Konnichiwa (the only Japanese I know ;) sorry)
Wait a sec...do I read that you'd like to set up a torrent? This is different...I may have to investigate for my self first...I never did THAT before... Edit: Maybe (just maybe), this could help : Turnkey Linux... |
No, not a torrent server.
