DAT drive in Linux
 
Friends ,

I want to use DAT drive in Linux 4.0 for data backup purpose .Now I have follwoing questions regarding this :

1) How can I understand that my DAT drive is set/install to my Linux Machine ?

2) If I want to add data into the DAT drive then How can I do it ? cause I know dat drive always replace the data , not appned ? Can I add or append data when I want to use my DAT drive more than 1 time ?


Plz help .. ..

Look through the output of dmesg, check /proc/scsi/scsi
