The GMA3600 is a relabeled PowerVR SGX545 chip, which has currently only very basic support on Linux. I would recommend to go for Slackware 14.0 and install the latest kernel and Mesa, this should give you at least support for your resolution, but don't think about 3D or video acceleration.

That means that the video chip in that CPU was not designed by Intel, they bought that video chip from Imageon (the chips name is PowerVR SGX545) and relabled it to Intel GMA3600.

I am very pleased to receive your message, thank you very much !
my email is shediaoyingxi@163.com and jiatong950@gmail.com

After reading the message , i know
The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 or GMA 3600 is an integrated processor graphics card (e.g. in the Atom N2600) without dedicated memory. It is based on a PowerVR SGX 545 design similar to the GMA 500 (SGX 535). In theory the GPU should support DirectX 10.1 but at launch only DirectX 9 support was available. (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-G...0.60198.0.html)
The Intel GMA 3600 series is a family of integrated video adapters based on the PowerVR SGX 545 graphics core. It is used in the Atom N2600 and Atom N2800. (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Intel_GMA3600)
I found it on www.google.com.hk search.

I know http://alien.slackbook.org this website through you, thank you.

I am a chinese , i am in hengshui, hebei, china.I my English is very bad! 哈哈

One is hosting the Slackbook, one is a mirror of AlienBob's site.

LinuxQuestions.org is a place to ask questions and (hopefully) get answers. If you want to learn about Gentoo the first place to start is the Gentoo website, they have tons of information.

If you don't like to get spam e-mail I would recommend to remove your mail-addresses from that post.

Eric Hameleers, also known as AlienBob, is one of the core-developers of Slackware.

Of course you are free to post your mail-addresses. But this has the risk of being targeted by spammers, which is something nobody wants. And it is unnecessary. If people want to contact you they can do it through the contact page on your profile here at LQ.
