Angry D-Link 530TX+

I have a dlink dfe530TX+ NIC, Linksys router BEFSR41 and SuSe 7.1 When i try to configure the card it tells me that it can't get an IP address from DHCP. The router is configured for DHCP. What do I do now?

I am assuming that you have another computer set up to be a DHCP server on the network, and that the card is making a proper connection to the network. I would check to make sure that first, the DHCP server process is running on it's appropriate computer, and second, that the server is configured properly.
