d/l fedora 4
I am running an AMD64 - 3200 on a Asus k8v se motherboard. I'm running windows xp pro and fedora 3. I got my orginal disks from a friend.
Now here's my question. I plan to d/l fc4 from redhat. When I open the d/l in gives my the parent directory plus 12 different files. One file is FC4-x86_64-SRPMS-1-disc1.iso , then there's disc2, 3, 3, then FC4-x86_64-disc1.iso, 2, 3, 4, 5, FC4-x86_64-rescued.iso and then finally SHA1SUM. Which files do I need? If all of them, do I need them on seperate disk, and finally, which is the start-up disk? Henry15 |
I think you'll need FC4-x86_64-disc1.iso, 2, 3, 4, 5, and the first disk usually is the startup disk.

ctkroeker's right, but getting FC4-x86_64-rescued.iso is also a good idea, because as FC4 is still unstable, you may need to use the Rescue CD if it crashes! ;)
