D'pad in Snes9express

Hi, im using the Sixaxis controlelr in Snes9express and im having troubles with the D'pad. I use the conf file and changed it so all the buttons will work the way I want, and it works, only I cant use the D'pad in the game. In Chorno Trriger for exmple (the only reason Im going thru this) select, b, a, all those buttons work, but the D'pad dont work, so, I cant move my charter\ select stuff in the menu.

I went to the conf file but couldnt find a place to change the movement controls, so, how can I make Snes9express work with the Sixaxis's D'pad?

Thanks |:

Do D-pad respond when testing it in joystick configurations? You should be able to change what button you want to use for what(well at least in the windows version haven't tried linux one yet). In windows I had a problem with snes9 remembering my saved configurations. What I did was use a mapping program which map my control buttons as keyboard strokes and just used the default settings. If your D-pad works in in joystick configurations try and look up a mapping program like xpadder in windows and use it. I don't know if it is one for linux or not I haven't looked yet.
