CUPS won't start

I receive an error on boot up, "cups:cupsd:child exited on signal 25! ""FAIL"
I cannot get the cups service to start, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but the Redhat 9 add/remove gives me an error that cups is not installed. Is there a way to reinstall it if necessary, but any ideas on how to get it to start?

Thank you
